Great read as always! This was my concern for Santa Clara, every year they always seem to undo a great non-conference resume with a nonsense loss or two. The Loyola-Chicago game definitely qualifies, in hindsight you could have seen it from a mile away too. Santa Clara's love for nonsense losses + underachieving program that is usually strong = bad combo
I know....Santa Clara comes out on fire, then lays an egg in December. Hurts the conference overall too as the WCC could've been a three-bid league, but between them and San Francisco it looks like probably just two-bids this season.
