Braden Huff is going to be a PROBLEM for other teams. I have loved what I've seen from him so far!
I personally don't call Gonzaga a mid-major purely for the fact they operate as a power conference team. In my opinion, mid-major is fluid in a sense. For example, looking at Memphis' run from 03' to 14', I could see the argument for not classifying them as a mid-major at that point. However, they play in a mid-major conference and have been to the tournament just twice since then.
Using that example, let's say Gonzaga fell off and didn't make the NCAA Tournament 3-4 years in a row, I would say they start to creep back towards that status considering they are playing in the WCC.
That's just my opinion though, I know some writers say yes simply because they are in the WCC, I see others who have a similar opinion to myself. It's such a grey area.
