You're right about the football side, but this looks like a really fun basketball conference. I wonder if they decide to go all in on hoops? Either way, they'll need to find an eighth member for football and I don't think Gonzaga has any plans to bring a team back anytime soon
Oh 100%, this is going to be an incredible basketball conference! The Mountain West was already a blast, but adding in Gonzaga? That takes it to a whole other level. Plus, they'll probably add another big splash, which will elevate it even higher.

Honestly, I don't think it's possible for Gonzaga to add a football team. Just adding that many male athletes will make Title IX an absolute nightmare. But I love the PAC-12 going all in on basketball - there's a ton of media money there
Very true on the Title IX point, there'd have to be some significant money being tossed around to consider it. Same here and the Mountain West and WCC will still be ultra competitive. This whole Pac-12 thing was pretty chaotic at first, but it's making the college basketball landscape intriguing.
